Steve is the son of the late Charles McPherron of Holland and Janet McPherron Anderson of Flordia. He is married to the former Jaclyn Messmer and they have three children.

Steve is currently vice president of operations for Air Ride Technologies where he has been employed for the past 12 years.  He previously worked for the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation teaching automotive technology and for the City of Huntingburg Street Department for two different adminstrations.

In his personal time he enjoys traveling to many car shows throughout the country and building hot rods in his garage at home.
