Face Masks Donated to Huntingburg Transit System

On Tuesday, June 23, 2020 the City of Huntingburg Transit System received a donation from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) of cloth masks to be used during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each mask is durable for up to 15 machine washes.

“We are grateful to the FTA and INDOT for the generous donation of face masks for our Transit drivers,” says Huntingburg Transit Department Director Jacque Lueken. “Our first priority is to keep our drivers and passengers safe during this uncertain time, and these masks will allow us to continue offering our services while protecting the health of those we serve.”

Amy Craft, INDOT Public Transit Section Project Manager, delivered the masks to Huntingburg City Hall.
