The City of Huntingburg’s street department will begin weekly leaf pick-up on Monday, October 27, 2014 for Huntingburg residents. Leaves must be collected and placed near the curb in order for the equipment to reach them.

Leaves will be collected north of Highway 64 and east of Highway 231 on Mondays; north of Highway 64 and west of Highway 231 on Tuesdays; south of Highway 64 and east of Highway 231 on Wednesdays; and south of Highway 64 and west of Highway 231 on Thursdays. On Fridays, the department will pick up leaves that weren’t collected during the previous days.

As a reminder, leaves will not be picked up prior to October 27. Residents are asked to avoid placing piles of leaves on the street before pick-up begins in order to avoid clogging and damage of storm drains.
